One thing I envision is an area where students make posts where they are going training in any given day and when... For example, today I'll be at the Rec Center @ UCCS today from 11:30am until about 1:30pm. Even though most people can't get in there without a student ID, they can atleast know where I am if they want to meet up in that area. I think another cool idea might be a spot where we discuss the history and legacy of ninjutsu. This way, everyone in the dojo will relatively be on the same level when it comes to understanding the history. Another idea could be where students discuss training idea's to enhance our tiajutsu, ect... Also, maybe we could make a topic that mainly the upper level (green belts) students share tips and advice of the things we've picked up from training the last three years or so. This does not imply that we know everything, but that we are sharing our experience of our training. Finally, an area were we discuss philosohpy of martial arts and what it really means to be a martial artists today, and more importantly, how does ninjutsu fit into that category. I have more ideas, but I don't want to flood you guys with too many things to deal with, anyways, I'll see you tonight!
We will have to look into the student forum thing that you and John have suggested. I didn't realize this didn't have those options until it was live and we could see it. It shows differently in the desingn pages. Joe do you have info on that?
I don't really know, I'll look into it on the Tranquil website (because I can actually access that) and see if I can find out how we can make that work.
I don't know, I definitely think we should be careful about how things are worded, but I always enjoy listening to other peoples experiences. Personally I get new perspectives on different ways of training. Just my two cents :)
We need ways to expand business, classes and the dojo. How can we do this?
Phew. Finally able to log into the forum. I wanted to begin a new thread for Small Unit Tactics (SUT).Any idea how to begin a new topic thread?
